Workshop on knowledge exchange and developments in weather and forecast and climate models

GERICS co-organized the Mathematics of the Weather Workshop 2019 in Bad Orb, Hessen. More than 40 climate scientists and model developers from all over the world met to discuss and exchange recent developments in the climate modelling community.

GERICS presented results from recent simulations with the new non-hydrostatic REMO version and emphasized the importance of high-resolution climate data for the development of future climate services at GERICS.
