Fiona studied environmental sciences at Leuphana University Lüneburg. After that, she completed a double degree master's programme in global sustainability sciences at Leuphana University Lüneburg and Arizona State University. In this context, she worked in a research project on the question of how to collect globally existing sustainability solutions on a platform with a searchable database. In her master's thesis Fiona explored an alternative approach to sustainability communication by combining sustainability issues with art.
